As a lawyer, Francisco is driven to serve and advocate for the interests of all people facing injustice, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds and underserved communities. His goal is to make legal representation more accessible and client-centered.
Francisco obtained his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School in May of 2022. While in law school, he participated in the Civil and Human Rights Law Clinic as a student attorney and Clinic Fellow working with a Tigrayan non-profit organization as well as representing DC employees facing workplace discrimination. Francisco also did substantial pro bono work for the Washington Lawyers’ Committee Workers’ Rights Clinic. He served as the Co-President for the Latin American Law Student Association for two years, and as Political Chair of Lambda Law.
Prior to law school, Francisco worked for several non-profit organizations focused on public health and higher education in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Chile. Francisco graduated Cum Laude from Harvard University in 2014 with a B.A. in Romance Languages and Literature and a secondary in Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality.
